If you can't save money with €3,600 per month, something is wrong with your household budgeting. €950 warm rent (estimated) and €2,600 living expenses for three people - really tight!!!

I told you we are saving?? But still little in my eyes. Also, 340 for the [PKV] is deducted from 3600.

Saving yes, but you said "now and then". So you mostly live very well. There should be at least €500 regularly available. Do you keep a household budget?

Then please fill out your profile correctly. Your NW is confusing for an accurate prognosis.

and you feel uncomfortable? After all, you plan to have a maximum installment of €900. What are the chances that your husband will return to a good secure job?

The 200k has already been described by others. It will rather be 250-300k. Then the €900 installment won’t work either....

Well, you obviously have a mortgage-free (?) plot of land. Paid with equity or received as a gift?

Actually, our plan says that we can easily pay that (even now). But THEN there would be no more saving possible. In the last few months, there have also been some special expenses that we basically paid from the current account and not from the savings. I think that distorts the saving potential subjectively.

My husband assumes that he will find a job again. If necessary, a 400€ job would also be an option and I would work full-time to reach the 4000€ we are aiming for.

Currently still living in NRW, sorry.
