Hello,
we are currently in a similar situation. (Woman 29 and I 30)
Net income totaling €3600 (woman is a civil servant)
House + land + additional costs - own work - equity = approx. €350,000
The broker from Wüstenrot created an offer and also played a lot with our numbers. We wanted to mostly dispense with outdoor facilities when building the house and invest later in own work. But now we have stated €14,000 with €9,000 own work and thus move away from our over 100% financing.
First offer is €1030 at 1.55% over 10 years. The offers from a week ago with the same conditions were all still at 1.87%.
Considering our expenses, it would definitely be doable. In the worst case, after deducting the loan installment and additional costs, about €800 would remain per month.
