Hi, in our house construction we have installed underfloor heating everywhere. Due to some calculation, it was said that we still need a radiator in the bathroom.

I have now emailed the plumber and asked if we could have a towel warmer instead of a normal radiator.

The extra cost would be €75 + VAT.

That should not be the reason now. It is white and bent forward in shape. It is the model "Purmo Flores."

Now I have seen that it is a warm water model that is connected to the underfloor heating. So it only has a low flow temperature.

Now the question is, does it even make sense to generate proper heat on freezing cold days when you want to bathe the children? Or would an electric towel warmer be better?

I also asked him that and got the following answer:

"The designation louder towel radiator and is only intended for residual heat generation. It has the same temperature as the underfloor heating but can also be equipped with an electric heating element (€90 + VAT) upon request."

ust wanted to ask you how you see it? On the internet it says that in a bathroom with underfloor heating an electric towel warmer would be more sensible.

Your problem: The area of the de3 underfloor heating is too small in the bathroom. The solution: Increase the area of the underfloor heating. With: Radiators

Your wish: Warm towels With not: Underfloor heating With: Electric heating rod

The electric heating rod would torpedo the energy calculation.

Warm towels are a positive side effect of the towel warmer^^

I want a warm bath in winter

Wrong: It is not a towel warmer. It is a floor heating surface extender in a form in which you can also find a towel rack or towel warmer (because they are structurally identical).

Therefore, the name is irrelevant.

If it is essential for the energy calculation, no electric heating rod may be installed. And you will not get warm towels.

Well, whether that is important for any calculation doesn't interest me in hindsight, everything has already been approved. Why don't you get warm towels when there is an electric heating element inside? They get even warmer than without. , is yours also connected to the underfloor heating? Is it warm enough in the bathroom in winter?
