Keep your hands off, keep searching. You are doing an indoor air analysis because this seems to be a topic for you. Now you have the result and it’s not tip-top – you won’t be happy in the place.

I see it exactly the same way as Gerddieter.
And the analysis is more or less only a snapshot. The values can fluctuate throughout the year. Both positively and negatively.
We also had a prefabricated house from the 70s and also did a house dust sample. The results were somewhat better than yours but still it was partly a criterion in the question whether to renovate or demolish and rebuild.
I would not buy such a house today anymore.

What were the results? And what decision was made afterwards? As I wrote above, the decision to carry out the analysis was just to reassure my wife. The result now is that I myself am uneasy. The crux is: Who would buy a house with the values we measured? The realtor is no longer allowed to withhold them. And if no one buys the house anymore, then maybe in the end we will get it at land price.

Anyone who is a bit more relaxed, since only one value is elevated, but not extremely. Anyone who renovates a bit. Anyone who urgently needs a house.

I believe I have found a solution. Does anyone have experience with the air purifiers from Florafilt? According to the manufacturer, they should also filter out formaldehyde. However, I cannot find any information about the removal rate or what happens to the filtered-out formaldehyde. Additionally, you cannot order on the manufacturer’s website [Link entfernt], and there are neither prices nor retailers. Where can I get this thing?

Formaldehyde cannot be filtered.
