Hello everyone,

since I do a lot of handiwork myself, I know how much good tools can help with the execution. I have had little contact with painting and spackling so far but will do these myself. I have already purchased a perfect spackling set and wanted to know if there is also a good painting set? All these Amazon sets are okay for one room, but not usable for an entire house. Do you have a good manufacturer for that?

Thank you very much!

So I have bought a lot of painting tools from the company Storch and found them to be very good.

Great, I just checked and they also have good sets. That already looks very promising.

I painted the whole house with rollers from Action. It worked fine. Or rather, the rollers were a much smaller problem than the nasty lime paint on gypsum plaster. So for the next house, I will put painter's fleece everywhere (or have it put on) and then paint with silicate dispersion paint. We did the biggest room (open-plan room) that way and it went super fast (even significantly faster than the first room with lime paint on gypsum plaster, which is maybe 1/4 of the size).

Just use branded material. It doesn’t matter which – it just needs to be suited to the purpose.

I always order everything online. Whether Sto, Schuller, Fries, Conti, Caparol, Pictolor, Kip, etc. (are tools and paints). You can try searching for [Malerversand] on Gurgel. They have a large selection of professional materials. In my opinion, the paint plays a much bigger role than the tools.
Never buy paint from the hardware store again! No matter which...

No hardware store paint anyway. We will all paint with Sto paint. I've only read good things.
