Ceiling height is approximately 2.5m

My question was whether it would even look good visually if we were to lower the ceiling in the dining room above the dining table

Just to lower the ceiling because of one lamp outlet, which is only 2.50m high anyway? No...

We have three connections above the dining table, of which only two are used. We had the third one plastered over. If there’s an upgrade to a larger table later, I can open it up and connect three lamps.

Otherwise, the classic would be a spring cover.

Maybe a bit "old school", but for poorly fitting wall outlets I still find these yo-yo lamps great…

We solved it like this in another place..

We want to have a lamp like that too.

There really isn't another way how you solved it, right?

Yes, it would be great if someone could find a simple brilliant solution for this problem…

The simplest solution is to plan accordingly. The next best "simple" solution is chasing and plastering. With concrete, it's just more effort.
