I looked around our place this morning: we had a very meticulous tiler who did good work - the corner strips, in our case narrow metal strips, were also not cut on a miter or anything like that. So they are installed similarly to yours, only exactly straight, so it looks neat and precise.

Someone worked at your place who wasn't so precise in the details.

What do you think of the solution for the top step of the stairs? Is that an acceptable solution? Actually, the tile should go up to the edge, or is that also up to the discretion of the tiler? By the way, he also installed the stair steps.

I wouldn’t recommend the plaster tip in wet areas; instead, he should have the tiler come back to re-grout it or tell him which grout material he used.
