Height Ikea Maximera + Waste Separation

Hello Ikea fans,

does anyone here happen to have installed the IKEA waste separation system in a tall Maximera drawer and can tell me how much space it requires in height altogether?

I am not sure if I can fit it under my sink (currently have about 37 cm of height and could get about 3 cm more by shortening the drain hose).

Hello, if no one can measure it, the trash cans are 32.3 cm high. Add the height of the bottom of the MAXIMERA and you have the total height above the corpus bottom. In the following picture, you can also see that it is a few centimeters lower than the 40 cm drawer front:

I measured once:

From the bottom edge of the drawer up to and including the trash can lid = 34 cm.
Between the bottom edge of the drawer and the cabinet floor 1 cm.

With us, the siphon jammed on the right rear drawer and we bought a slightly lower bin for the right rear, which otherwise fits perfectly in terms of size:


But at 37 cm under the siphon you shouldn't have any problems.

thank you so much for remeasuring! Yesterday I shortened the hose a bit and gained another 2-3cm, so now I have just under 40cm in height. That should be enough.

Then I will pay IKEA a visit again over the weekend!
