When I think of quick and dirty, I don't think of IT at all. ;)

I simply consider the statement that the craftsmen didn't make any money to be wrong. When I see what is charged here per hour, even the [Zauberer von OZ] has amounts listed, it makes your ears flop.

Is that a (common?) term for which trade? I didn't know it before and can't really figure it out right now. Oven destroyer? Otherwise, full agreement that at least the bosses have earned their Mercedes and probably their own house in the last 5 years. The actual executing craftsmen rather less so.

Agile working also plans ahead, albeit in rather shorter cycles. And in theory, high quality through testing is also important, although with agile methods without appropriate quality assurance it is possible to produce a lot of junk very quickly that is unmaintainable afterwards. ;)

I know, I also often consider it useful, but not everything that is called agile is truly agile work. I just wanted to point out that it is often used as a euphemism for Quick n Dirty.

Ofenzerstörer is good. ;) In our latitudes, people say the Wizard of OZ when the work is done "Ohne Zettel". Which of course I have never done...
