Hello everyone,

thank you already for the numerous and helpful answers. You have definitely helped me. Generally, I will of course do this in close coordination with our developer. Actually, I was just looking for a rough idea of the costs and who even carries this out, because that was not quite clear to me.

Our responsible waterworks even offer a cost reduction if the individual channels are laid in a coordinated manner. I still need to inquire about this in more detail, but it will probably also be done through our developer.

Thanks for the quick help.

Regards, Christian

Christian, but you should keep an eye on that as the builder.

There were two construction projects with developers here, who did not properly coordinate with the civil engineering office and, as mentioned, had to tear out all the drainage again and rebuild it (expensive!).

You now have a rough idea of which questions to ask.

Best regards
Thorsten

Question: Are you actually building with a developer? So do you buy the land including the house together in a notarial contract? Or do you rather mean your builder [general contractor (GU) or general takeover contractor (GÜ)]? In the first case, you definitely should have nothing to do with the channel connection.

What does the water connection roughly cost you?

The sewer is done by a civil engineer commissioned by the city, we have to go through the street with a pressure pipe.

Hello everyone,

Thorsten: No, I will definitely keep a very close eye on it and track everything precisely, and also make sure that the contacts with the Tiefbauamt are maintained. Thanks for the hints.

Jochen: It is rightly a GU. Whenever you talk to people and acquaintances, they (unwittingly) talk about the developer, which is why this has now crept in.

Marc: The waterworks have estimated a rough price of 2000 euros. I stated that it is about 7 meters to the house.

For the sake of completeness: The electricity provider quoted a price just under 1000 euros.

The question was not directed at me, though.
Nevertheless: We paid 9,800 for gas/water/electricity/telecom in the access way. Telecom was minimal here. For the gas connection, we received a discount of 980 euros, so in total, we paid 9,000 for the access way.

The civil engineering for the access way was included in this price. Approximate share about 3,000.
