Wall-mounted or mounted on the washbasin? (They are available in both versions)

Wall. Below are countertop washbasins on the kitchen sink cabinet.

My wife also really wants wall-mounted taps and preferably with a sensor. But I still have some doubts because the basic body for the wall outlet always depends on the manufacturer. In other words, once Hansgrohe is mounted on the wall, I don't think another manufacturer can be installed later. I still have some minor doubts about that. I also need to check the options regarding above-counter basins or sinks without a faucet hole.

We have finally decided on wall-mounted faucets earlier today. Duravit (DuraSquare) also offers nice sinks without a tap hole. Two questions:

[*]How high did you approximately install the wall-mounted faucet? Is there a standard measurement for this?
[*]The Hansgrohe base unit for the wall outlet (article number 13622180) has an Rp 1/2 connection on one side. Is this a standard 1/2 internal thread, so that later, if necessary, a different outlet with 1/2 could be installed (for example, a very simple example, the HANSAELECTRA (article 00880019) with G 1/2 external thread)?

That depends on how high your base cabinet is and which washbasins you have. I think there were distance measurements in the instructions back then – I followed those.
[*]The Hansgrohe underbody for the wall outlet (article number 13622180) has an Rp 1/2 connection on one side. Is that a completely normal 1/2 internal thread, so that later you could, if necessary, also install a different outlet with 1/2 (for example, a really silly example, the HANSAELECTRA (article 00880019) with G 1/2 external thread?
I think YES, BUT please don’t hold me to this statement, that was unfortunately 1.5 years ago and at that time I was in full house-building mode and just got things done. I mean that you can screw anything ‘on the surface side’ onto the threads.
