District heating connection - questions/assessments

The development plan says nothing about "mandatory acceptance" "As part of the development measure, the construction area will be connected to the district heating network to be built by Nahwärme XX AG. The connection of each building plot to the district heating network is compulsory." Where are the lawyers: Actually, that only means that the property must be connected, but nothing that I have to accept their services? ;) I think it's good that the district heating in the villages is 100% eco-friendly. All good. I would also accept that - but based on consumption without a minimum acceptance. I have nothing against 67.50 euros for heating and hot water per month. What do people pay for their KfW55/40 houses? Surely not just 30 euros, right?

If the number of customers decreases, the fees increase. When the connection is established, you at least pay the basic fee.

An acquaintance now pays 160 basic fee and 40 for consumption, as there are fewer customers than projected. They are ready to sell after one year.

Alright then - at some point the operator goes bankrupt and then you're out again or ;)
