Halogen ceiling spots: what division?

I am currently working on the arrangement of the ceiling spots in the living/dining room and kitchen.

We will probably install halogen spots 35w with dimming function. What distance between the spots is recommended to achieve sufficient lighting? Is a distance of about 90cm between the spots enough? (Ceiling height normally about 2.40m)

Hello house !! I would say the most important thing is the layout on the ceiling. Should it represent a pattern (spots) triangle. Square or or If you have thought about it once, you can put together the layout and mark it on the ceiling. Most likely, the number and spacing will then result automatically. Best regards.

What I am also wondering is whether there are guidelines or empirical values for the distance of 35w halogen spots on a ceiling at a room height of 2.40m, to achieve good lighting.

Hello house!! So I can only give you the tip to try it out with a lamp once, look closely at the light cone it produces and then you have more precise information.. I myself cannot give you exact measurements, distances, etc., that would certainly be like a lottery. But maybe someone else can!!! Regards.
