And on Monday they will start building the walls How long do you think it will take? City villa 2 floors Nothing special, except for painting and flooring everything will be done by the company. Thanks in advance for your answers. We hope there will be no frost

You can't say that in general. Location, order situation, delivery situation, Corona in autumn yes/no, etc.

We started masonry work in week 12/20 and completed the acceptance at the end of December 20 (VAT and so on), we moved in March 21. Built with a general contractor, single-story flat roof building.

Our neighbor started more or less at the same time and subcontracted all trades himself, he is still not finished. Here one canceled, there one delayed and as a result the next dropped out. Admittedly much more complex on the slope but the time difference is considerable and not only due to the more complex construction.

Our general contractor was overall about 3 months slower than a few years ago when there were fewer problems (a total of 10 months).

So inform yourself how long the general contractor/developer (whatever) usually took and add a few months on top. A more precise estimate will probably not be possible.

The shell construction took us about a week per floor, then we waited 3.5 months for the windows. I am still waiting for the roof tiles, hopefully they will arrive the week after next... Now I am waiting for the plumber to come back from vacation and then I hope that things will proceed reasonably smoothly and we can move in by the turn of the year...

The work itself never really takes that long, for example the electrician finished the rough installation in a week. It is more the waiting times between the trades or for materials that drag on forever.
