Hello,

I am looking for good 3D house planning software.

I created a house in SolidWorks 3D PLM software and could export it, for example, as STEP IGES DXF etc. format. Does anyone know software into which I can import my floor plan or maybe even the 3D model and place things like furniture, windows, doors, flooring, etc.? And then calculate area and volume.

I would be very grateful for interesting suggestions.

Regards
Konstantin

I work professionally with Nemetschek Allplan; 3D data can be imported and created by oneself - and also quite normally in 2D. Furniture, windows, area etc. is also all possible. In my opinion, the software is expensive - like maybe other CAD programs as well. You can also request a free trial version there. Just give it a try.
