Like I said, like a carpet.Mostly no. In very extensive systems, subsurface irrigation is used. On golf courses, huge lawn sprinklers. Within the facilities themselves, normal lawn sprinklers. Micro-irrigation mostly only short range. That means a mini sprinkler with a 50cm range or, for example, drippers. Soaker hose is basically a drip pipe but not as precise. The reason a lawn becomes/is so great is due to the type, lots of water, lots of fertilizer, and care.
