Hello,

I am collecting quotes for glass sliding doors. Due to the small distance from the door to the wall (runs along the wall) and because in the offer the combination of door + running box belongs inseparably together, only a double-sided recessed handle is included here. The door separates the hallway from the living/dining/kitchen area and will probably be open most of the time.

Has anyone had experience with adhesive handle bars for glass?

Unfortunately not. The grab bars are screwed on. In front of the wall, there are then bridges.

See pictures.

Then a shell like the one we have ..... is actually the best ;) We also initially considered a handle bar but without it we like it better and as you already said.... the door is usually open ;)

Is it double-sided and glued? I like it a lot. In our case, the door is almost always closed. So it is used several times daily. There the grab bar is indeed the better solution.

No, there is a hole in the window....... it is screwed in.
But I think glued holds just as well and also looks better ;)
The door can be opened well with the handle and closes very easily.

First decide on the more practical opening width, then on the type of handle. We liked a bar and made the passage slightly wider for it.
