Rod/shell combo.
I installed it without a frame.
Then custom manufacturing is certainly not desired as it is even more expensive.
Take a look at post #2, there I solved it with a handle strip. In my opinion, somewhat more elegant.We have a clear width of 86 cm and a rod/shell combination on the glass sliding door. This is screwed continuously and not glued.
This way the door opens across the entire width and can be opened from the living room side using the rod and from the hallway side using the shell.

But you usually only see one side of the door.I saw that. It was also offered to us back then. Also as a variant with a flat strip lying over the entire surface on the wall side. I don’t find that so nice because of the combination of flat/round.
