We have decided exactly on this technology. Additionally, a central controlled ventilation system with heat recovery and a small soapstone stove will be included in the house.

The connection for a power storage system has been prepared - however, we want to wait here for more powerful & affordable batteries.

I don't know how you define "more affordable" batteries, but I think they already exist on the market. I can gladly give you contact details.
I had my post deleted because I overlooked that you are already using an air-water heat pump, sorry - I had only seen "gas" and thought I would speak up about it

I have concerns in this regard that - as soon as the geothermal heat pump eventually pays off, it will need to be replaced again?! We are very undecided about the heating option. Maybe we should also take a look at the air-to-water heat pump...

There are no reliable data on the service life of an air-water heat pump yet - I sold the first one about 8 years ago and it has been running without any complaints so far. Basically, it is nothing other than an air conditioner with a reversed heating principle. In this respect, the expected lifespan - provided maintenance and care are ensured - should be comparable.

The question arises for me how large the storage must be for an almost 5-person household... and whether that doesn't go beyond the limits?!
