If drilling has already taken place in the neighborhood without causing any faults, that is a good sign. Due to the problems in the neighboring town, drilling for geothermal energy is no longer permitted here. Regards, Dirk

Mhm well maybe I'm imagining it too simply, but:

if I extract energy from the "Earth," meaning from the soil or water (energy source), it must somehow regenerate so that I can continue to divert energy. Are there cases where a system became unusable because the energy was "all gone"?
