Well, yes and no. Whether you have 12 cm insulation + 24 cm stone or build monolithically with a lime plaster component on the interior is indeed a difference. And it is not quite true that almost everyone builds with controlled residential ventilation. Of the 10 general contractors I asked (including 2 large ones), the statements were that somewhat over 50% of houses are built with controlled residential ventilation.

But the house will be built airtight anyway. Whether with insulation or just stone, that doesn't change the air quality. Without controlled residential ventilation, you have to/should ventilate a lot. I have the feeling that people often show up here who were told by the GENERAL CONTRACTOR that controlled residential ventilation is not necessary. I think there's nothing better. We even had one installed during a renovation.

I have the opposite feeling. Now everyone is installing it because it is somehow fashionable. As you can see, two opinions

What is supposed to be fashionable about always fresh, filtered, pollen-free, quiet air? The opponents of a [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] are always the people who do not have one yet. Anyone who has one would not want to live without it again.

That may be. But the price is five-figure. For that, I'd rather open the windows. I'll think it over and talk to the general contractor again.
