Yes, she does, apparently you don’t. Functioning does not mean being, but as you rightly wrote above, acting. This means that in a sufficiently large network, increased demand or reduced available capacity at one point can be compensated by lower demand or increased available capacity at another point.

I suppose the Foreign Minister had regulatory solutions in mind that balance local fluctuations and differences between injected and requested power across the grid and the various grid levels. And this balance between locally injected and locally requested power could probably be called local storage capacity, if one wanted to. To stay with the "Grauflaute": it may indeed be gray and dull, but not everywhere at the same time. The larger the area considered and the grid running through this area, the less fluctuation in the integral.

Hello Tolentino

ok, just rambling.
The phenomenon "Greens" is already quite well illustrated by your Mrs. Baerbock and Mr. Habeck. Little knowledge and ability, lots of tailwind from the media, they are destroying Germany’s economic strength and the population cheers "Yes indeed". We have seen something similar before. It didn’t end well.
Just educate yourself on how the European power grid is structured. The word "base load" is very interesting there.
Of course, widespread power outages will soon come. You cannot switch off all reliably operating power generators and rely on wind and solar power. Nature is capricious, and, you wouldn’t believe it: sometimes the sun doesn’t shine (preferably at night) and wind isn’t always there either.
Oh yes, what I forgot: Ms. Ricarda Lang called on Germans to "tighten their belts." What level of education does she have again?

Please be specific. You keep throwing random fragments of arguments and buzzwords into the discussion without backing up your statements with anything substantial.
And when the rubbish you put out there is clearly and demonstrably refuted, you throw the next catchword into the room without being specific.

Equally interesting is the word "regulating power". Only those who harp on baseload can do little or don’t want to do anything with regulating power.

No, unlike politicians of other colors, the Greens (generally, there may be exceptions) rely on scientific statements and do not blow out opportunistic polemics. No one said that it would already be possible today, but that the goal is to get there and therefore investments in grid expansion (besides the expansion of renewable energies themselves) are necessary. Precisely so that the grid becomes suitable for load management.

Hello

just googled it.
It’s not my topic. My topic is internal security. And that already gives me plenty of gray hairs.

But "Regelenergie": in short, when there is no sun shining and no wind blowing, power plants that can produce power on short notice have to step in. Now let's say, in the middle of winter, very dark and then very little wind. Then the energy has to be produced by gas power plants. It's just unfortunate that your prima ballerina kicked Mr. Putin in the shins at the start, and Mr. Habeck is calling for a gas purchase boycott.
Let me summarize: Renewable energy is based on there being enough other power plants that have to step in when no renewable energy is produced. Comparable to: electric car in the garage, but when it continues driving, the diesel comes out.
I’m telling you folks: The Greens are ruining this country Germany with their experiment. The other countries are already watching with a smirk.
