Hello, thank you very much for the answer. The garage is 650 mm wide. My wife drives a small car. In my opinion, that should fit.

Then just walk through a residential area and see what kind of platforms people have. If you ask nicely, you will sometimes be allowed to take a closer look at a platform in detail. Afterwards, have your desired platform drawn into the plan with the exact measurements. Then you'll see if it fits.

Just draw the second car to scale and consider how to get through the garage door (the first car is also crucial for that) and then simulate the path between the cars to the door and then parking the bicycles. It has to be practical and quick, otherwise the bikes will pile up everywhere except in the extension.

We have already implemented this similarly (slightly smaller). I would now advise you to build the garage with its own walls and not to extend the floor slab of the house. It is better to consider the garage and the house as separate building structures. Although it is somewhat more expensive, it has a few advantages: Noise decoupling – structure-borne sound (garage door opening/closing not heard inside the house) Settlement cracks between house and garage are avoided Energy loss (albeit small) through thermal bridging (despite [Isokorb]) is excluded We do not have a platform in front of the front door because we built barrier-free. The driveway is also only about 4m wide. In the old house, we had 6 steps to the ground floor, and the bottom step was already quite worn from the many contacts with tires, etc. The driveway there was about 5m wide. And if you parked too close, the door swing area was dangerously close to the stair steps.
