On the inside of the door, a hat profile is screwed over as much as possible across the entire width of the section.
Thanks for the info, we should probably insist on the hat profiles, even though I don’t understand one thing, because I have never seen it / lack of experience:
Does the slat bow both inside and outside or only outside?
I’ve always understood that the outer sheet bends, so what good are hat profiles on the inside?
Construction of the slat (cross-section): Outside steel, foam in between, inside steel
Then the hat profile is only attached on the inside? Or do you mean a single-walled sectional door?
I saw a so-called “Silkgrain” surface in the Hörmann catalog, which has a thicker steel sheet than the normal one. Has anyone perhaps had experience with the warping on the south-facing side of the garage? Does it help?
