Hello to all members,
I am new and have so far unsuccessfully searched for concrete statements regarding the installation of third-party dishwashers in the Metod kitchen system.
Has no one yet installed a fully integrated third-party dishwasher in the Metod system?
I can understand that the regular dishwashers do not fit, as they inherently do not have the height required by the cabinet dimensions.
However, an XXL appliance, from whichever manufacturer, should fit.
As an example, I have the Bosch SBV69M80EU built-in dishwasher. This is an XXL appliance for which a maximum front of 775 mm should fit.
If you attach this with a Vario hinge, the front should be able to shift so that it swings over the plinth panel.
Or am I completely mistaken here, and is it due to a completely different circumstance that only the dishwashers from Ikea are supposed to fit?
Many thanks in advance for your help, photos of possible solutions to the problem would of course be fantastic.
Best regards
