Fully automatic coffee machine

Hello, we also had a fully automatic machine for several years... then we were on vacation in Italy and there we had a Nespresso machine. After the vacation, the fully automatic machine was thrown out and the Nespresso machine moved in. Since then, I drink really delicious espresso every day and don't want to miss it, by the way, that was 2 years ago. It also has the unbeatable advantage that it is very small and we will soon have an open kitchen....

One advantage of capsule machines is certainly the variety of coffee without any effort. No milk frother needs to be cleaned.....there is a separate milk capsule and depending on the device, a milk button. The coffee then costs twice as much per cup, but it is tasty and above all my office visitor really likes it. ;)

Descale occasionally and that's it!

We had a pod coffee machine until about a year ago, which was actually quite okay, especially since you could throw the pods into the organic waste after use or even use them as fertilizer for plants. When the pod machine eventually gave up the ghost, we also considered getting a Nespresso, but the price of the capsules, as well as the waste generated by the capsules, made us hesitate, and as fate would have it, we received a DeLonghi fully automatic machine with a separate milk frother (which can be easily taken apart and put in the dishwasher) as a wedding gift. After finding the perfect blend for oneself, a fully automatic machine is really a wonderful thing :)

Are you aware that it’s not just the milk frother that represents a breeding ground for bacteria, but the entire brewing area as a whole? There was a very interesting study recently about what kind of bacterial colonies are floating around there...

This should not be underestimated!

Therefore, the brewing unit can be easily removed and cleaned with us, which is also done regularly :)
