Hello everyone!
For our new build (bungalow, 160 m² with wooden beam ceiling) we are currently planning the roller shutters etc. Since we chose a wooden beam ceiling and do not want to do without roller shutters, there are 2 options to accommodate them: raise the floor height by +28 cm or use box roller shutters. We would like to install the latter option and have received brochures from the window manufacturer from the company ROMA. We especially like the "Rondo" series. Now we have a question:
How expensive are such roller shutters (electric drive! color initially irrelevant) for window sizes (e.g.) 126 * 126 cm and 175 * 220 cm (floor-to-ceiling)?
Can any prices be named? On the internet you can’t find prices, or they are too easily misleading.
Which switching option is the best? Switch at the window or central per room? Are there any price ideas here as well?

Hello there,

Who put that idea in your head that roller shutters would not be possible with a wooden beam ceiling? Or is it rather that you chose the window height too high in relation to the story height?

Kind regards

I am a mason myself and nobody put this idea in my head. The thing is that a medical practice of about 45m2 is being set up in the bungalow. For the statutory health insurance approvals, we have to meet certain structural requirements. This also includes the ceiling height. I do not want to raise it just because the roller shutter boxes still have to be placed under the ring beam. There are also these external flush-mounted boxes from Roma. I understand the procedure. I would need some prices for the calculation! Can someone help me with that?
