But if then electric, so I can raise them directly from the bedroom before I go to the bathroom. No, I need opaque glass in the bathroom, if I want to look outside, you can also open them, many have forgotten that with controlled residential ventilation *g*

We have clear glass and pleated blinds.

I don't like frosted windows. When I used to rent, I used to curse the bathroom window. You could never look outside without opening the window. Now, when I want to look outside, I just raise the blind a little or look over the top.

We have one-way mirror glass. From the inside, you can look out normally during the day, but no one can look in. I find that very practical; you can check who is outside without being seen yourself. Almost all the light also comes through. Only at night, when the light is on inside, someone could look in, but since there is still a door in between (ein Windfang), that doesn’t bother either.
