No, for us it's as necessary as a goiter... when you're at home, you see everyone coming anyway, and if not, I don't care who's ringing...

I'm totally with Alex85 on this one, Ding Dong and glass in the door, etc.

The only problem is when you have a front door without glass or with frosted glass... then all that's left is Ding Dong...

A video intercom system with a camera will also be installed here. We do not have a peephole or a window. Nowadays, I think it’s not a bad idea to see who is standing in front of the door next to it. My girlfriend is also afraid to just open the door. Of course, there are other classic solutions for that as well.

This information will also be sent to the bus or the network.

Yes, deliberately. The cables are there, I can upgrade anytime, but even after 6 years there is still no need.

All trades are also connected to the bus, the obligatory poster recognition is also present, but in my opinion an intercom system is unnecessary, so there isn’t one.

Doorbell yes, but as already mentioned, if someone rings, you can see them anyway and I won’t open if I’m not home.

Who was there I see on the surveillance cameras if something happens or so.

Well, you have to decide that directly on site what you need. Every house and every entrance situation is different.

Alex and I have glass in the door for example... so you can see what’s going on...

Deliberately not frosted glass, by the way. Frosted glass absorbs a lot of sunlight. I would rather have it professionally foiled afterward than build in "permanent" frosted glass. But that surely depends on the living situation and the surroundings.

Fear of opening the door. I have to admit, that's not something I relate to. I can't even force myself to imagine it. We don't know anything like that.

Sorry, I expressed myself unclearly, I meant tinted glass precisely for the reason you mentioned. Frosted glass creates terrible light.
