One general question: Can you recommend Ikea electrical appliances for the kitchen, or is it better to install products from other brands? I would prefer to buy everything "in one go" at IKEA, but my husband is skeptical.

And: Can I install a cooktop on a normal base cabinet with drawers? Where do the cables go then?

Induction cooktops with the same features at such a "ridiculous price"?
Ovens with electronic thermostats under €500?
Microwaves from Whirlpool that are full of patents?
A dishwasher with a slider front under €1200?

As far as stability is concerned, I do not understand Z.'s objection. Even if one were to have the idea of placing a cooktop in the room without a side work surface, a countertop will be placed on the cabinet. If the cabinet is screwed to it, it also has lateral stability again, even if you completely omit the top panel.

The last series of electrical appliances lacked some features that have been available for some time from other brands. With the newer devices, the situation looks better again. You just have to look at what is available on the market and what is important to you. If you were to buy AEG, there should be no reason to buy the IKEA devices made by Electrolux.

As far as the price-performance ratio is concerned, I have to say that when I bought a new oven two years ago, I got a better device from Siemens than the best IKEA model for a lower price. (without taking into account the longer warranty at IKEA) You just have to look around.
