Does this also work with the Postbank with fair conditions? I have an account with them where only the building financing runs through and the account has no account management fees. They currently have a Special November here. They don't have the fund you mentioned, but they do have other MSCI World etc... First, find out what the individual funds mean, because when I open them, the curves are almost identical with hardly any deviations... Also, the increases in percentages are quite close together... 5 years 56.7%... Well, now there was Corona, war etc. since 2020... Not good times... But what goes down also goes up again... And if you put in, say, 20,000 directly now, it could look quite good in 5 years. Haven't I already won if I "earn" more than 2x 2% for 3 years each? On the checking account, it won't get less, but also not more. Fixed-term deposit is risk-free and with a small increase that hardly matters. ETF is currently gambling...

Basically, yes. The catch with ETFs is always when you need to access the money at a certain point in time X. You never really know in advance how the prices will be at that moment. Over the years, they usually have an upward trend. But at a specific point in time X, it can also look bleak. Currently, it's even a pretty good time to get started. At the moment, the prices are low.

Lower than before, yes. Lower than they will be in 7.5 years? I wouldn't exactly bet my hand on that...

That's the catch with the relatively short period. A bit risky for investing in stocks.
