Funny. We live in exactly this floor plan, but at 11x8.5m.... I find it almost perfect. At least a lot of things are just very right here, and I haven't regretted a centimeter so far. Simple and good!! Only the windows are different in our case

First of all, thank you for the friendly and imaginative responses on your part. The idea of the modified entrance area also prompts some further reflection, and above all the relocation of the door (sliding door) to the kitchen/dining/living area was already in our thoughts.

Attached are a few responses to the questions in the post.

The dining table in the plan is so far only drawn as a "depicted placeholder". Size still freely selectable.

The chimney on the kitchen side is for the oil heating - on the opposite side there is a provision for a possibly later installed Swedish stove.

I am less worried about the chimney in the pantry since it is an oil condensing unit with LAS chimney system.

That sounds good.

Hey,

We are currently in the planning phase for our house. We really like your floor plan; it meets all our wishes. May I ask what the cost estimate from the construction company is? How many square meters of living space do you have?

Hi, I also find the floor plan very stylish at first. Our considerations are going in a similar direction (and as soon as I have a plan worth publishing, it will come out).

A few notes on your upper floor: 1) We also initially planned a fairly large bathroom. Freestanding tub, view... and the longer we dealt with it, especially with the frequency we use the bathtub, we downsized and made it "simpler." You should definitely think carefully about whether it is worth using so much space for the bathroom given your (actual) usage habits. (Please just take this as an idea, it may be that this is an incredibly important room for you). 2) We planned sleeping and dressing room the other way around because we didn’t want someone (child, guest, burglar) to stand directly in front of our bed when they burst through the door.
