... where in my view lies the root of the error in thinking. Perhaps it is simply being considered that a blocking condition is an unfavorable working basis. And/or the penny has dropped that the self-planning (modification) is jam-packed with, to put it nicely, awkwardness (?)

As far as I can see, this is not self-planning.

... I even bookmarked your post to have it ready for the next discussion "share house also for later part 2". Precisely because you explain very well what should sensibly be considered in such a planning. That it's not enough to just say on some wall in the upper floor, the kitchen will go here :)

I also said "self-planning (modification)" – meaning: at least one own modification of a plan. Meanwhile, I have taken another close look at the hardly legible resolved drawings and am quite certain that it is probably more like a seven and three quarter variation of a plan that was infiltrated very early on with the builders' whispers to the draftsman. The awkwardnesses in the planning have now reached the concentration level of a bouillon cube. Crumpling will not be enough; to be safe, the wastebasket should then be blown up. And then please systematically (this is the OPPOSITE of cross-laminated multi-layer self-bindings!) redeveloped. I recall my suggestion to replace the fundamental thinking error of 8x10 with an orientation to the house profile of the neighboring half. When developing, please do not take the wrong turn again, i.e. do not overload the specifications for the house with omnipotence retrofits for the day after tomorrow & co.

Perhaps it should be emphasized once again that a house size of 8x10 m is rather on the small side. So if the desire for later divisibility is born out of the fear that the house might one day be too big - that is nonsense.

Neither of both and your PM only made it more intrusive. I don’t have to put up with that.
