As far as I see, the house does fit on the plot, right? Entrance north side, utility room & kitchen east, etc. What does this have to do with room dividers or double casement windows? Huh? Did I miss something? I don't understand!

It's about whether someone might have another idea for a different floor plan.

Hello,

how are we supposed to suggest a floor plan to you if
- we don't know what your plot looks like? (you have posted many different ones to "choose" from).
- we don't know what your requirements for your house are?

Only this helps:
- Study floor plans in different catalogs/websites/here in the forum
- Clarify your own requirements
- Pick a specific plot (reserve it if possible)
- Find a floor plan that fits the plot and the requirements and present both along with the requirements here.
- If the previous point doesn't work: find an architect or construction company and get advice (this might cost money)
- If necessary, have a custom floor plan designed (if you can't find anything "off the shelf" that fits the plot and requirements)

At the same time, think about the costs and financing; then, after these steps, things can proceed sensibly.

Then we can have a meaningful discussion; otherwise, it's just guessing.

Best regards and good luck!

Michael

Oh, there are a lot of floor plans. Just browse through the prefab house providers. There are quite a few options. But how is the construction supposed to be done? With an architect or with Viebrockhaus? In the latter case, the floor plan must be discussed with them. But with the entrance facing north, probably 90% of the catalog floor plans will fit your plot.

Our house has a 147cm knee wall. From the outside on the sides, it looks quite compressed because of course the roof pitch is only 35 degrees. Should one possibly reduce the knee wall to about 120cm or so? What would you do?

"pressed"??? I don't quite understand the question either. After all, Viebrockhaus also offers several variants of roof and knee wall, but almost always the same or nearly the same floor plan. In our new development area, there are five of them, all somehow the same from outside as well as inside, but the roof ratio is always different, whether Maxim xxx or Maxime yyy. Choose another house if 35 degrees are too pressed for you :)
