Floor plan design for a single-family house with a gable or hip roof

Without the 2 m line, the upper floor cannot be assessed.

Regardless of the roof pitch: with about 1m knee wall, the upper floor would work. I built a similar house last year (however, 1 adult 2 children) and everyone is happy.

On the entire property, there is a height difference of 6m. Within the building envelope, there is a height difference of 4m.

The children in the basement and the parents on the upper floor? Are there specific reasons for this spatial separation?

To be honest, I hardly understand the floor plans. Why are there already detailed window plans? It would be nice if the entire questionnaire were completed and a site plan included, which would explain a lot. I assume you are still without children?! Children in the north, bathroom in the basement without a window and located inside due to the slope... but a generous staircase and a top-notch parents' floor... I once lived in a course on the basement's northern side. The room was damp and never saw a bit of sunlight.

Ps: the chimney is missing on the upper floor and would probably stand right in front of the office door.
