Somehow I can’t manage that. When I rotate and move things, I either end up with a tiny office or a narrow corridor. Maybe I’m just misunderstanding your idea.

In my opinion, the corridor needs more width, otherwise you feel like you’re slamming on the brakes at the top of the stairs. But then the floor plan becomes even more square-like, which I see critically; I would prefer a clearer house axis. And I think one should never discuss floor plans alone.

You mean upstairs? Indeed, we considered taking 10-15 cm from the large bathroom to widen the exit. However, my wife wasn’t too keen on that in the end, so we discarded it for now. But I see what you mean. Unfortunately, we can’t make the house bigger, only smaller or with different proportions. But that doesn’t really help us right now. By "not only floor plans," do you mean the facade? I will provide that as soon as I have the architect’s revision. Otherwise, we’d be discussing it twice here. Thanks for your feedback.

Moving further away from the square becomes increasingly clear – especially with three children / two bathrooms. We are supposed to believe that what has been shown so far are architect drawings? Assuming insights in every round, discussions here gladly happen three or five times.

That may be. The problem is that we cannot become wider, and making the room layout narrower would be more difficult.

I do not understand this comment, what do you want to tell me with it?

But your clothes will increase over the years. You are allowed to clear out and throw away, but few people do that. And eventually, sports and rehab clothes, carnival costumes (ok, those can go into the basement) and fluctuating clothing sizes will be added. I don't care
