I have to admit, unfortunately I can't give you a definitive and well-founded statement on this either. My insulation supplier and screed installer also mentioned back then that it is best to work with 2 layers (which makes sense because you can insulate the joints), of which only one should consist of impact sound insulation (DES).
Your studded plates indeed have EPS DEO processed on them. So you can put the maximum possible thickness of EPS DES impact sound insulation underneath.
