Thank you very much for the many tips and suggestions. At Feuerlöscher-Kaufen-Test I found a note that most insurance companies pay at least for the refilling of a fire extinguisher if a larger fire could be prevented with it. In the meantime, after extensive research, I decided on a stored-pressure extinguisher. For the kitchen, I ordered a fire extinguishing spray.

With which extinguishing agent?

Hi, a foam extinguishing agent. With this, I cover fire classes A and B. For grease fires (rather unlikely in my case), I would have the extinguishing spray.

Hello,

Okay, that would be an alternative.

I don't think much of that at all. The extinguishing agents just lie around in the kitchen and in case of emergency, you either picked a bad spray or the spray mechanism has a headache. A good fire blanket might be the better choice there. It is multifunctional and almost maintenance-free. ;-)
Although the perceived safety also plays a role.

ps: from the early days of advertising:
"If you have Minim_x in the house,
no fire will break out at your place."

The opponents countered:
"Minim_x is big nonsense,
if you're not at home."
or
"If you have Minim_x in the cellar,
the attic burns even brighter."
In that sense :D

I also have two fire extinguishers in the house, but I must shamefully admit that at the moment I don't even know what types they are.

However, I must also say that I don't know anyone who has actually ever successfully extinguished a fire in the house with a fire extinguisher. But I know several people where the fire department had to come. Maybe my perception is wrong, but it could certainly be about the feeling of safety ...
