I can recommend the Commerzbank. Whether direct contact or through brokers, they always had the best conditions for us.

Apart from the provisioning interest, I think the offer is great, I would have gone for it. How important a longer fixed interest period is also depends on the remaining debt. 2% repayment = €1750 installment I find far too little and not necessary with your income either. I would aim for at least €2500 installment, possibly €3000, then the remaining debt is no problem either. No matter the interest rate

It certainly doesn't hurt to get comparison offers

Yeah, for 2% repayment at the current interest rates, you are simply too old.
The offer is still good.

Why is it better to have a high monthly repayment? If he plans higher repayment anyway through special repayments and the income is there? It comes out the same, doesn’t it? But it gives you more peaceful nights if a year doesn't go so well...

The point is that you keep paying the installment every month without having to lift a finger yourself. Regarding special repayments, there are definitely many people who plan with a lot of special repayments but in the end do not make any and end up with an excessively long financing period. A small side note is that special repayments are usually made only at the end of the year, and a few extra interest charges accumulate over the year while the money in the bank still incurs negative interest. It's not the end of the world and won't break a financing, but somehow it's also unnecessary to throw another 200€ to the bank every year...

Especially since you have the option to change the installment multiple times, I would do it directly through the installment. With 2500€ you automatically have about 10,000€ in special repayments. The remaining [Nette] is still great and I wouldn't expect sleepless nights because of that.
