Thank you. The bottom line for me is that you have either chosen a self-build house or a cheap provider when it comes to wooden houses; otherwise, it just won't work. Seriously built wooden houses – there are some small and good providers – are just as expensive as solidly built single-family houses.

That was also my thought when I read that. As a rule, they are equally expensive or even more expensive from what I can report from my comparisons...

Shell house or budget provider? I'm not quite sure - the house is of course not ready to move in, but walls, floors, and tiles need to be done. Is this a budget provider? Is 185 thousand for 140 sqm of living space cheap? We know three families who also built with this company, and they are satisfied.

The 15k€ is supposed to be your craftsmanship? Where is the material for it?

How final is the price?
We built a timber frame house. Quoted price 190,000 for 140 sqm without floors and walls (wallpaper) exception the bathrooms, they were complete.

Our final price was 225,000 €, of which 15,000 were for large extra requests such as ventilation system and bay window. The rest is basically standard selection and planning costs. We would not have gotten our floor plan for under 200,000 €.

Solid construction would probably have been somewhat cheaper, but the construction time was too long for us, and the effort involved too great.
