Hello,

An advice that is very much shaped by personal circumstances, but therefore not generally applicable.
Certainly, liquefied gas is always an alternative. What is often forgotten is that due to the higher energy content compared to natural gas, the lower modulation limits of the heat generators increase significantly. Consequence: excessive cycling with all the well-known negative side effects (energy efficiency, wear and tear).

Hello, when we discuss here with Hiiii and Hä, that is not a basis for discussion for me.
Whether oil is more expensive than ... is not the overriding topic! First, it must be clarified what could/may be used, what the operator wants, and whether it makes sense to continue using the propane system or to switch. Factors such as storage space, odor, hazard, existing pipelines, fuel costs (hard to predict), etc. play a role. The oil tank is simply not an oil system yet. Since not all conditions are known, or this may appear quite different on-site, the discussion here is not the final topic. These are only collected opinions that do not replace advice – if it is even desired?
I myself have enough interested parties who want to convert, but then suddenly are shocked that this ALSO costs money – and if savings are made here, fuel costs can even be higher than before. For this reason, a pellet heating system has already been excluded. There are other criteria besides the price.
I am only a master heating engineer and, of course, do not want to criticize specialists like you. For this reason, please consider this as MY opinion without knowing more.
Best regards Dellino
