Experiences with DTW Construction Financing

Hello everyone,

has anyone had experience with the company DTW as a financing broker? I have obtained various offers (Interhyp, Dr. Klein, different banks) all relatively similar. The one from DTW was then significantly better.

The intermediary is, to put it bluntly, irrelevant. You do not conclude the loan agreement with him, but with the bank/insurance. And if the flower seller at the market has the best offer, then you conclude it through him. But please do not only look at the pure interest rate (also [Bereitstellungszins] or [Auszahlungsmodalitäten] etc. are important).

See it a bit differently than nordanney. The broker is indeed important because he knows how the banks operate. There are banks that are either simple or complicated in application and processing. An experienced broker (like me) should actually know that. Furthermore, it is correct not only to look at the interest rate but also to check aspects like interest-free repayment periods and commitment fees.

: That is why I also wrote that one should not only look at the interest rate. Otherwise, I see intermediaries merely as good price comparers. Most only look at their commission anyway (my experience as a banker) - that is why we also terminated all intermediary contracts in our bank.

there are many such intermediaries who only look at their commission.... but unfortunately, at the expense of the customer, this is a very short-sighted view.

this looks like an excellent offer. Did you take out the loan with them? I am also planning to consult DTW. Could you share your further experiences – would you recommend DTW?
