Hello everyone! Does anyone maybe have experience with styrofoam blocks? What are the advantages and disadvantages of them?

does not work.... is beneath my dignity.. But search the WWW for the market leader... the damages/defects... You will be flooded with suitable construction diaries and other forum posts..

Nonsense!

The "stones" are not cheap, but in the end - when comparing the finished wall including thermal insulation - they are no more expensive than a conventionally built wall, but significantly better in terms of thermal insulation values! Ultimately, you have a solid wall and thermal insulation made of Styrofoam - exactly what everyone else does. But you have the additional advantage of insulation on the inside as well. So the wall no longer needs to be heated up. Whether the wall is "stone on stone" built or poured from concrete makes no difference in the end. Only that concrete is much more stable and therefore the walls can be thinner. The elaborate production of concrete ring beams and lintels is omitted. Simply insert reinforcing steel at the appropriate place and pour concrete. Done. If advertising were allowed here, I would recommend checking out iso-Massivhaus.de. I wish you all the best and don’t let yourself be unsettled by people who always find something to criticize. Usually, it’s because they want to sell you something else.

Exactly, the storage mass of the walls cannot be used because the interior insulation prevents the walls from heating up. After each airing, the rooms cool down quickly, which increases energy consumption.
Maybe Willi Wacker can enlighten us regarding the following points:
Dew point shift towards the interior, mold formation under the interior insulation, no possibility to apply a vapor barrier.
What effects might cavities and defects during concrete pouring have on the structural integrity, how is the structural integrity ensured at all, and what effects might embedded steel parts have on sound insulation.
Does interior insulation actually reduce living space?
How does the fastening of heavy objects on the styrofoam work?
So papi10, first google "Lego construction method," form an opinion, then assess the risks and decide.
