Mine is: Initially, we were actually very convinced. Marketing, catalogs, information about features, etc. went very well. Everything was fine until the contract, but afterwards we were "trapped" and the communication declined. Inquiries about special requests, start of construction, trades, etc. decreased until there was no information at all. The GmbH was practically unreachable. Constantly being put off regarding the start of construction. Ultimately, we were supposed to start one year after signing the contract. Escalation up to the CEO of the AG – this did accelerate the start of construction, but the problems did not subside. The construction manager existed only on paper. Neither proper instruction of the trades nor presence on site, and worst of all – the work of the trades was not accepted, which led to considerable defects. Multiple wrong windows, wrong equipment, mold, etc. But the worst: hardly any progress after the shell construction. Constant pauses between the trades. Construction delays without reason. Delaying of problems and the very worst – retention of payment for defects was collected almost like "Russian debt collection." My list of defects is still very large after handover and deadlines are not met, still hardly any communication and above all – there is no plan. Things that are addressed usually end up even worse afterward. ....and so on... my story is endless. But the worst is, in the immediate environment the experiences are similar. The tradesmen tell how it goes with other Kern houses and it hardly differs from our experiences – so we are definitely not an isolated case. So I can only advise against it...
