So I don’t close the basin when shaving, why should I? Just so it gets more sucked in afterward than under running tap water?

Wrong generation. I myself use planes and knives, but I wouldn't think of storing water, it only has disadvantages. Also, this is not so important that it would make the sink a gag item. Moreover, stored water does not necessarily make the basin unusable for user 2. For that, you can wonderfully bathe infants in large basins.

May I briefly jump on the "bath trend" and ask a question regarding the fittings?

Today was actually the first time I consciously went out to furnish our bathroom. In the process, I also visited "Peter Jensen GmbH" and noticed some nice items.
Now I wonder, what does a fitting for 600 EUR, which by the way looks 99% exactly like one for 40 EUR, still have to offer?

Honestly meant; what justifies the higher price? Because it can't be the design. Are there really such big differences inside these fittings?

And yes, I wanted to ask a salesperson. But since I didn’t have an appointment and a couple was being served the whole time, I let it go.

So, I really just want to know if a 600 EUR fitting has ANY difference compared to a "normal" one?

Thanks to you all. (Didn’t want to start a separate thread for this...)

This is the "secret" of the product piracy business: that a brake disc for a tenth of the original manufacturing price only reveals under the microscope where the price difference comes from

On the other hand, there are indeed always things where only the price is more expensive ...

The design will not be the same for the connoisseur and expert. There are differences that account for the 560€, they are different manufacturers.
Take the cheaper one if you don't see the difference!
