All our earthworks for our house on a slab foundation cost just under €15,000. You’re certainly right that the removal of soil was one of the smallest items on the list.

Whoops, the €10,000 reserve for unforeseen expenses is already gone!

We are doing well with the calculation of incidental construction costs at €40,000. Maybe there will be a few euros left over (we are still waiting on 1-2 invoices).

By the way, the soil survey was included in the house price for us. But that doesn't help you if you only do the soil survey after you already own the plot. We could only take a deep breath and have a calming drink when we heard that we were basically building on "jelly" and therefore need numerous piles under our house to keep it standing.

I think that you should invest the majority of your "liquiden Mittel". Have you already thought about possible investment options?
