Now, with a price per square meter of just under €1690, I see this here in the area as anything but completely overpriced.

I accept the opinion that these are probably small houses or rather apartments. But let's be honest, what could you do wrong with interest rates of 1.4% for 15 years plus a building savings contract for another 10 years with 2% interest? We can't live cheaper for the price and at the same time pay off something of our own!

Living in a terraced house doesn't make you a second-class person; you just have to adapt and once again distance yourself from the nowadays common anonymous lifestyle.

I also don't really see the point in building a house with 300 sqm?! Just to show friends and relatives how great you have it?

Terraced houses are clearly functional houses, meant to live in. I don't need a garden given the location of the houses, but I walk the street and I'm in the nature reserve :)

Thanks anyway for the constructive contributions that I was able to incorporate into my question catalog.

Regards

Good evening,

maybe Musketier was right after all ... although today I find it quite difficult to be "well-behaved" and "nice" (this only has a rudimentary connection to the post) ..

I don’t agree with you; I find the price – even for BW – steep, considering what you "only" get for it.

In my opinion, a low interest rate should never be decisive in purchasing!

I agree with you and would never say/write otherwise; why should I? But – your examples are not terraced houses, these models are the seller’s maximum commercial exploitation so that the plot size yields maximum profit.

Don’t be silly! Every builder builds the house for themselves; at least I hope so. However, 130 sqm, even 85 sqm, can be arranged more cleverly; especially on fewer floors. The overwhelming majority of today’s building projects amount to 130 – 150 sqm; buying a lot and building a single-family house on it is expensive!

Rhineland greetings
