Well, I don't want to be a party pooper now, but I paid less than half for a KNX-wired house also with about 100 sockets, of course without the additional KNX devices but with everything else, meaning socket inserts etc. and electrical cabinet including residual-current device and plenty of circuits...

However, we don't have an intercom system and we installed the network and SAT ourselves.

I find that in your list especially the simple sheath cable, the electrician is charging quite a lot...

We also did without the temperature controllers, just like Sebastian I would also advise... they simply make no sense in a modern house with low-temperature heating.

Hello Mycraft and Sebastian,

if you do without the temperature controllers in the individual rooms, then there is only one basic temperature for the whole house (or where the underfloor heating is). Do I understand that correctly?

Yes and no - You can regulate that via the valves, but it takes time and patience. Then normally you don’t adjust it anymore - you have almost the same temperature everywhere anyway. Thanks to [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] even more...

Sense or no sense. When I look at the Energy Saving Ordinance 2014, there doesn't seem to be any room for discretion:

"§ 14 (2) Heating systems with water as the heat transfer medium must be equipped with automatically operating devices for room-specific control of room temperature when installed in buildings"
