Hi, I just quickly checked with BFT.
So, for the gates I have seen, they use their "Thalia L" controller.
This is powered with 230 V and has a built-in 24 V transformer.
You can also tap the 24 V at terminals 50 and 51 inside the box to power your doorbell. So you would have to run cables from the inside to the gate, and from the gate to the doorbell, saving you the extra transformer and wires for supplying the doorbell.

I hope this helps you out a bit.

EDIT: I took a bit too long now. But the effort was not in vain. The Phobos BT A25 is also controlled via this Thalia L. So that fits.

That is exactly what I meant. Therefore, no additional box is necessary. The data can be found quickly. If that overwhelms you, it would be better if a professional does the wiring.

Thank you thank you .... don't worry, I wouldn't touch it anyway... I was just concerned about the technical implementation/requirements.

I had just seen the instructions and the accessories as well.

Where I'm currently stuck: Is it really enough to just run two wires from the Thalia to the Ring Doorbell? So AC/DC doesn't matter?

I understood tapping from the two contacts, but then going on to the gate and gate to the doorbell, I didn't. That means the two wires first go to the gate motor and then continue to the doorbell? So not the direct way?

Yes, that is completely sufficient. Only two wires would come from the Doorbell power supply anyway ;)

yes, I was also aware that there are only two wires, but that just seemed a bit too simple as a solution :D

It doesn't always have to be complicated ;) The only disadvantage is that if the control breaks, the bell is also without power. But it can also happen that the fuse blows and the bell is connected to the same cable/fuse anyway.
