Ecotouch ai1 geo Ground Source Heat Pump by Waterkotte - Experiences

does anyone have experience with the Ecotouch ai1 Geo from Waterkotte?

The pump looks chic and seems to be very efficient. The display is very informative and intuitive, and the control system also has a web browser and supports various industry protocols for smart home integration. What is still unclear is the noise level of the pump. The pump will be installed in the utility room next to the living room, as we do not have a boiler. We are concerned whether the pump is quiet enough.

On the manufacturer's website, it says 43 dB(A), on the sticker on the housing it says 46 dB(A), and the heating engineer talks about 34 dB(A). A Nibe heat pump is advertised with 36 dB(A).

Whether 43/46 dB(A) is a lot, I unfortunately cannot judge.

We had a similar model in our house, an Eco-Touch 50Schlagmichtot. It felt no louder than the SBS refrigerator. Set up in the utility room, even the normal door stopped all noise 100% (the door led to the hallway, from there with the door open into the living/dining area – there you never heard anything at all in the two years we lived there). I found the heat pump excellent, also in terms of performance.

Depending on when you need to know this, we will get such a pump as a brine pump. Move-in is planned for mid/end of January, then I can report.

Have one of these. In my opinion, the volume could be lower, but everyone hears differently. Otherwise solid, although the web app is rather simple.
